WHO WE ARE:
Coming from different working backgrounds, we all share the same compassion and devotion to charity work. Therefore, we initiated "Because We Care", a humanitarian group supporting Vietnamese people with limited living conditions.

WHAT WE DO:
“Ketsana Relief” project was activated after the disastrous typhoon Ketsana swept through Central Vietnam, where there are many families already living below the poverty line. In Que Son district, one of the poorest regions in Quang Nam province, the typhoon took away 2 lives, destroyed 4,189 homes and 2,034 ha crops, and caused a total estimated loss of over 200 billion VND (~ 11.76 million USD).
Among the most devastated communes in Que Son, we target 80 households in Huong An Commune. Their homes and assets were badly damaged while they have not yet received support from any humanitarian organizations.

WHY SUPPORT FOR “BECAUSE WE CARE”:
We work directly with the victims to understand their needs before carrying out donation;
We provide direct delivery of donations to each affected household without transference to a third party;
All subscriptions will be used for donation only. We and our partners will cover all related expense of the project.

HOW TO DONATE:
In cash: Participants are encouraged to contribute one day worth of their salary
In kind: Items such as clothes, blankets, textbooks .etc. are very useful to these households

HOW TO SUPERVISE SPENDINGS AND DISTRIBUTION ACTIVITIES:
Confirmation letters will be distributed to each donor with subscription details;
Weekly updates on project progress and list of donors can be found at www.primebusinesscenter.com.vn; starting from 27/10/ 2009;
Cash delivery will be recorded by photos and receipts signed by beneficiaries;
Final project expense and report will be distributed to donors via email and posted at website
